ROOTED IN ALASKA
Founders and owners, Gary and Tari grew up in Alaska. Tari lived year-round aboard her family's commercial fishing boats, the Dream Maid and later the Johnny A. Life on the water meant changing weather, long days, hard work and a deep appreciation for the rugged beauty of Alaska. Those early years taught resilience, resourcefulness and a respect for the outdoors. Values that continue to guide Snowy Summit today.

For many years, we owned and operated retail stores in Sitka and Skagway, Alaska. Alaska Basket Co. (Sitka, AK), Grizzly Cabin (Sitka, AK), Tundra Ted's Trading Post (Skagway, AK), North To Alaska (Skagway, AK). Welcoming both local customers and visitors from around the world. Those years behind the counter gave us an incredible understanding of what people value: useful, authentic products with a real story.
After decades of living, working and running businesses in Alaska, we carried those experiences with us when we created Snowy Summit. What began with the botanicals of the Alaska and Pacific Northwest rainforest has grown into a collection of thoughtfully made body care for real life.

As 3rd and 4th generation Alaskans we are family-owned and operated, with more than 30 years of experience in the industry. Every product we create is handcrafted in small batches to ensure the highest quality, care, and attention to detail.
