WHAT IS DEVIL'S CLUB?

Devil’s Club is a large plant that commonly grows in the rainforests of Southeast Alaska, British Columbia, and the Pacific Northwest. It features large, green leaves with clusters of bright, beautiful red berries. Its woody stalks are covered with intimidating spines. While hiking you'll want to avoid Devil’s Club and enjoy from a distance, as the spines can quite painful and irritating if you end up too close. Devil's Club oil has been known to be used as a natural remedy for common ailments such as arthritis, eczema, and muscle aches by the indigenous people of these regions for centuries. Here at Snowy Summit, we've perfected our extraction process to provide Devil's Club oil in its most pure form. I bought this product while visiting Alaska. This salve is amazing! It helped heal an abrasion quickly with minimal scarring. I went online and ordered more plus lotions. The Fireweed smells so good and my skin is so soft! Arrived quickly too!

Though I've seen other sites that say fireweed smells like a combination of citrus and mint, this formulation doesn't smell citrusy or minty. Whatever the combination of scents and "essential oil and scent" in this formulation is really nice, though. I don't mind at all the scent of the regular devil's club formulation, but this one doesn't smell at all "medicinal," and the scent, though mild, lasts a long time--in case that matters to anyone. This feels as if it's both absorbed but also creating a protective barrier without being greasy or oily. I started using it to relieve trigger finger pain but also use it for general dry hands and scrapes.
